Egypt's FM Shoukry receives AmCham delegation ahead of door-knock mission to US (Ahram Online)
Egypt's foreign minister Sameh Shoukry received on Saturday a delegation from the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt (AmCham) as part of preparations for an upcoming door-knock mission, according to a statement by Egypt's foreign ministry spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid.

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met Saturday with a delegation from the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt (AmCham), which will take part in a door-knocking mission to Washington in the coming period, foreign ministry spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said.
Garhy displays economic progress with AmCham ‘Door Knock’ (Egypt Today)
Minister of Finance Amr al-Garhy displayed the progress of the Egyptian economy in his meeting with "Door Knock" delegation members that was organized by the American Trade Chamber (AmCham) in Cairo.
The minister's statements came to encourage further enhancement of the American investments in Egypt as well as further increase in the trade exchange between the two countries.
Egypt Seeks to Reduce Foreign Debt by 6% (Asharq Al-Awsat)
Minister of Finance Amr al-Garhy said on Monday that Egypt aims to reduce foreign debt from 41 percent in fiscal year 2016/2017 to 35 percent by the end of this fiscal year to reach 30 percent in 2018/2019.
During his speech at the American Trade Chamber (AmCham) in Cairo, Garhy said that the improvement of economic indicators in the country noticeably positively impacted the development and improvement of the trade balance, stability of the exchange market and drop in the budget deficit.
